Can you help an adult learn to read? Midcoast Literacy urgently needs new volunteers to help meet demand for their programs!

English Language Tutor Training prepares volunteers to work with English language learners, both new arrivals in Maine and individuals who have been here for some time but need support with reading, writing, and speaking. No experience is necessary. Training includes three sessions: Tuesday, June 10; Wednesday, June 11; Thursday, June 12, from 9am to 2 pm each day. Tutors work with adults in northern Cumberland, Sagadahoc, and Lincoln counties.
