The Maine Art Gallery hosts its annual plein air painting event - with a twist in 2025 - by expanding its geographic scope to the entire state! Plein air artists from around the state were invited to enter sample images of their work to be accepted to participate in this plein air event.

​The paintings for the exhibition were completed between July 1 to July 26. The opening reception for the exhibition is Thursday, July 31, during Wiscasset Art Walk when the gallery will be open until 7pm. Singer/songwriter Lisa Redfern performs. Cash prizes will be given to artists who win the juror recognition awards.

Regular gallery hours are Wednesday to Sunday, 11am - 4pm.
